In case you don’t take the time, they were a product of the unbelievable rennaissance of Texas music in the 60’s & 70’s. Originally they were from Ft. Worth, then some of the members played in the hotbed folk scene of Houston where they befriended Townes and Guy. Hilariously, Guy Clark is on this album cover (lower left) because one of the band members was missing that day and they wanted to show a full quorum. Very cool Texas psych-rock.
